Below is a list of items we cannot accept:
- Any sealed units or tanks (including propane tanks)
- Nickel Cadmium or Lithium Batteries
- Sodium Switches
- Any unknown chemical substances or residue.
- Paint Cans: full or empty.
- Asbestos or items contaminated with asbestos (Insulated Pipe and Transite Concrete Fiber Board)
- Oil Filters
- Liquid or gas filled containers of any kind (i.e., oil cans, gas tanks, reservoirs w/fluids)
- Acetylene Containers
- Any unknown hazardous waste, substance, material or scrap contaminated by the same (batteries, PCB’s, smoke alarms, radiation, freon, paint, chemicals, etc.)
- Capacitors- PCB (sources: washers, refrigerators, air conditions TV’s etc.)
- Florescent Light Fixtures with capacitors and bulbs. (We only take the fixtures)
- Oil or Unknown Liquids
- CRT Tubes
- Ballasts containing PCB (sources: light fixtures, stoves, etc.)
- Electronics, Computers, PC’s, Televisions, etc.
- Ordinance and Ordinance related materials
- Mercury Switches and thermostats
- Aerosol Cans
- Radioactive Materials
- Shock Absorbers (must be cut in half)
- Tires; (a tire fee will be deducted)
- Rubber Flaps
- Trash, paper, wood, rags, foam, cardboard, glass etc.
- Wooden Pallets
- Steel cable, unless cut into two foot lengths
- Heavy Equipment must be drained of all fluids
